Zeigler Parrot Maintenance Hi Energy is a scientifically-formulated, nutritionally-balanced diet for hookbill species that require additional energy. It is the recommended diet for birds maintained in cooler environments and is an effective transition formula for birds accustomed to high fat seed diets.
Zeigler Parrot Maintenance is formulated to provide 100% of the essential amino and fatty acids, vitamins and minerals required to maintain proper body conditioning and feathering. Studies have shown that proper levels of these essential nutrients are not present in diets consisting predominantly of grains or seeds. Several pellet sizes are available to accommodate birds of all sizes, and the fruity flavor will attract even the most finicky eaters.

Feeding Instructions

Birds should have diet available at all times. All uneaten food should be removed on a daily basis. This diet is a complete nutritional package and therefore should constitute not less than 90% of the total dry matter intake on a daily basis. Always provide clean, fresh water an remove any diet that has become wet.
