Regulatory & Quality Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to maintain compliance in accordance with applicable regulatory and quality requirements for sale and export of Zeigler products.
Key Objectives:
- Maintain regulatory and quality compliance to assure the sales and export of Zeigler products into major markets.
- Manage product registration and facility certification processes to open and maintain access to sales channels.
- Support quality, food safety, and operational training development across the organization.
- Serve as liaison between Zeigler and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Complete new product registration and renewals in accordance with country and state requirements
- Compete facility certifications per country/regional requirements
- Support internal, industry, and customer quality audits
- Compliance Monitoring – stay current with state and export animal feed regulations.
- Maintain database of all regulatory requirements and export/import documentation needed for markets for Zeigler products.
- Prepare and submit technical and quality documentation to regulatory agencies
- Communications with industry trade organizations and regulatory agencies to facilitate product registrations and export compliance.
- Support QA & Food Safety personnel with SOP & GMP training and development
- Support Sales & Customer Service personnel with export shipment requirements.
- Support Operational initiatives using AI-based platforms
Skills, Knowledge, and/or Experience:
- Experience or skills in agriculture, aquaculture, and/or biological science
- Ability to engage and communicate with international trade and regulatory agencies
- Above-average reading comprehension skills and attention to detail
- Effective organization of regulatory and quality information
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to think critically and generate effective recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including SharePoint
- Experience or knowledge in quality systems a plus.
- Ability to understand Spanish is a plus
