Rodent NIH-31 Open Formula Diet

The NIH-31 Open Formula Autoclavable diet is formulated for the maintenance, growth, reproduction and lactation of both rats and mice. It contains additional amounts of vitamins to compensate for losses that occur during steam sterilization. It has been used at the National Institutes of Health as the standard reference diet for biological and biomedical research. It is also widely used in commercial rat and mouse production colonies.
