Feeding Suggestions
- Crane Maintenance should be fed free choice as the total diet; no supplementation is necessary for normal healthy birds. If the birds go off feed, feeding small fish for a few days would help. As a guide, most birds will consume the equivalent of one-fifth of their body weight per day. However, feeding requirements will vary depending on species, environment, level of activity and stress factors. Fresh water should be available at all times.
